PAUL W. SALERNO, M.D.

Dr. Salerno received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and graduated from the Physical Medicine Rehabilitation residency program at Harvard University.  He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and has been practicing in his Amsterdam location since 1998.

Dr. Salerno provides a comprehensive, nonsurgical, non-narcotic approach in diagnosing and treating patients experiencing functional impairment and or pain associated with injuries, disorders and diseases.

DEIRDRE M. SALERNO, OTR

Deirdre received a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine.  She is a registered licensed Occupational therapy with over 15 years of experience.

Deirdre provides evaluation and treatment, education and instruction.  She also offers custom splinting for patients who have elbow, wrist and hand injuries or conditions (including patients who have had surgery repair or sports injuries).  Such injuries and conditions may include wrist and elbow tendinitis, tendon injuries, Boutonniere’s deformity, wrist & digit fractures, digit arthritis, stiff and painful hand syndromes, reflex and diabetic dystrophy, and nerve injuries including carpal tunnel syndrome.
